Limited Warranty

JESCO Lighting Group (JESCO) warrants all products against defects in material and workmanship under normal and proper use from the first date of shipment provided product is installed as described in its installation instructions. No persons or entities may promise other warranty periods or conditions without the express written consent of a JESCO President.

JESCO will, in its sole discretion, (i) repair any product, (ii) provide a replacement, or (iii) elect to reimburse the amount of the original purchase price.  JESCO shall not be responsible for any other expenses resulting from a warranty claim, such as shipping, labor or other costs or expenses to remove, repair or install any defective, repaired or replaced product.  JESCO shall not be held liable for any consequential damages, loss or damage arising directly or indirectly from the use of the products or from any other cause.

I. LED luminaires, LED power supplies, and LED components shall have a limited warranty of up to five (5) years from the original date of shipment. Consult the applicable product specification sheet for specific warranty periods.

II. Low Voltage LED Flexible Linear, and Rigid Linear products including Bespoke CBF, shall have a limited warranty of up to five (5) years from the original date of shipment. All LED Flexible Linear and LED Rigid Linear products will be deemed defective if there is a failure of 10% or more of the LED components. Where a replacement is warranted, custom cut-to-order products such as LED Flexible Linear, Bespoke CBF, as well as other standard product will only be replaced as originally ordered.

III. 120V INFINA® 2.0, and INFINA® shall have a five (5) year limited warranty from the date of shipment. INFINA® 2.0, and INFINA® are deemed defective if there is a failure of 10% or more of the LED component. See specification sheet and installation instructions for more information. Where a replacement is warranted, custom ordered INFINA® 2.0, and INFINA® will only be replaced as originally ordered.

IV. Electronic ballasts used in the Mini Fluorescent Sleek Plus® product line shall have a limited warranty of three (3) years from the date
of shipment.

V. Non-LED products shall have a limited warranty of eighteen (18) months from the first date of shipment. See applicable product specifications for specific warranty periods.

VI. National brand lamps are not warranted by JESCO, please refer to the original lamp manufacturer for warranty information. LED lamps under the JESCO brand offers a three (3) year limited warranty.

VII. Obsolete, discontinued, closeout and clearance merchandise are not warrantied.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:
  • JESCO reserves all rights to completely inspect the product in order to determine proper installation and usage.
  • Improper installation or usage, and abuse will void this warranty.  See specification sheet and installation instructions for more information.
  • Exceeding the maximum ambient and/or operating temperature, as stated in the applicable product specification sheet or improper thermal management and/or improper airflow for the fixture and power supply will void this warranty.
  • Use of non-approved or third-party power supplies, controllers, mounting hardware, power and connecting cables, secondary cooling equipment, etc. will void the warranty.  Refer to specification and installation instructions for approved list.
  • Connection errors of LED products to the improper power or polarity will void the warranty.  Refer to product specification sheets and installation instructions for more information.
  • Product failure caused by electrical power surges and spikes at the installation location that are beyond JESCO’s control will void the warranty.
  • Any products altered without written consent will not be warrantied.
  • When a replacement is warranted, products will only be replaced as originally ordered.
  • When product is replaced, the warranty period remains from the original shipping date. 

JESCO Lighting will not assume responsibility for claims arising from misuse of JESCO products due to improper installation practices or usage, and abuse by subjecting the product to operating conditions which exceed the rated capacity. Any products altered without written consent will not be warrantied.

JESCO makes no other warranties other than those set forth in this warranty, and these warranties are in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or infringement, except as permitted under applicable law.

JESCO reserves the right to amend its limited warranty policy at any time by posting any such amendment on its website found at www.jescolighting.com. Any such amendment will take effect once the amended terms have been posted and shall apply to all orders received thereafter.

Return of a defective product/making a warranty claim

JESCO makes every effort to provide the highest quality level of products free of defects in materials and workmanship. Should any failure to conform to this warranty become apparent within the warranty period, JESCO must be informed in writing to enable us to repair or replace the products at our sole discretion. If in-house repair is required for the product, JESCO will provide a return goods authorization (RGA).

JESCO product warranty applies only to purchases through JESCO authorized distributors. All warranty claims must be filed through the distributor from which the product(s) was purchased.

If the original purchaser wishes to return a product or make a warranty claim under this warranty, the original purchaser must contact the distributor from which the product(s) was purchased with proof of date of purchase. The distributor must promptly submit a request for RGA to JESCO. Once JESCO reviews the request and determines the claim is within the scope of the warranty, JESCO will either instruct the distributor to return the product to JESCO’S offices or have the product destroyed in field. Items returned to JESCO without an RGA will not be accepted. JESCO reserves all rights to send a company representative to the job location where the product is installed to inspect the product and evaluate the proper installation and usage of the product. Failure to follow this procedure will void the warranty.

In no event will JESCO be responsible for any labor or other costs expended on such products or be held liable for any incidental or consequential damages in connection with or arising out of the use of the products or for any other indirect damages, including without limitation, lost or anticipated revenues or profits, loss of property, personal injury, injury to reputation and/or loss of customers. JESCO’s only liability with respect to defects, at its sole discretion, is to either provide a replacement, repair, or refund, not to exceed the original purchase price, of the defective product.

In the event that product under warranty is replaced, the warranty period remains effective from the original shipping date. JESCO cannot guarantee that the color temperature or light output of the new replacement product will exactly match the previously purchased and/or existing installed product due to the constant evolution of LED technology combined with the aging of the light sources and luminaires.

Product Data

Every effort is made to avoid typographical or clerical errors in JESCO printed literature, price lists, catalog cuts, quotations, or acknowledgements.
If and whenever such errors are discovered, they are subject to correction and JESCO shall not be held responsible for any chargeback resulting from these errors.

JESCO INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Logos, text, graphics, images, and other material used in either printed or digital formats all exclusively belong to the JESCO Lighting Group. Trademarked, patented, patent-pending products, names, logos, slogans etc. are prohibited from use in any form without express written consent from JESCO.

CUSTOMER’S ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

JESCO stands behind its products when they are used properly and according to JESCO specifications. The customer agrees and acknowledges that lighting design, configuration and installation is a complex process, wherein minor factors or changes in layout, infield adjustments and electrical power surges can have a significant impact on an entire system. This limited warranty does not cover problems caused by improper design, configuration, installation, accidents, misuse, abuse, negligence, normal wear and tear or external factors beyond JESCO’s control. The customer agrees and acknowledges that it is the customer’s responsibility to adhere strictly to all information contained in the JESCO product specification sheets.
