The Annual IES Detroit Lighting Product Show is the “must-attend” event of our calendar year. Featuring over 100 lighting exhibitors, there will be something to see for everyone. This is your chance to see the latest trends and developments in the lighting industry. Lighting Designers, Architects, Interior Designers, Specifiers, Electrical Engineers, Electrical Contractors, and Distributors are all encouraged to attend.

The IESLA Product Fair is the lead funding source for IES Los Angeles Section Student Education Fund, consisting of the Saul Goldin Memorial Internship Program and the Russell Cole Memorial Design Competition. Your attendance helps to facilitate these programs.

The Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) is the technical authority on illumination who caters to all lighting professionals. The IES, a non-profit membership organization, sets out to improve the lighted environment by bringing together those with lighting knowledge and by translating that knowledge into actions that benefit the general populace. The Illuminating Engineering Society was founded in 1906 to establish scientific lighting recommendations and to advance knowledge of the lighted environment for the benefit and improvement of society.

2021 August Virtual Conference

Due to the uncertainty of New York local and state restrictions regarding mass gatherings in August, as well as government restrictions that impede international travel, the LEDucation committee has made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel the in-person Trade Show scheduled for August 17–18, 2021. However, the committee is pleased to announce that LEDucation will offer a series of accredited virtual conference sessions in August 2021.
